Guru Maharaja :
HH’s Vyasa puja will not be celebrated at Mayapur this year on the 26th
of March. This date has has been postponded to 29th of May.
28th May 2010, Devotees arrival
29th May 2010, Vyasa puja
30th May 2010, Initiation
31st May 2010, departure
On March 26th there will be no Vyasa puja celebration at all at ISKCON
Mayapur. ISKCON Mayapur will celebrate VP on 29th May when Guru Maharaja
will come back to Mayapur. But all devotees may celebrate VP at their
respective places on 26th March and come to Mayapur on 28th May to
participate in grand VP celebration with the presence of Guru Maharaja. Guru
Maharaja is scheduled to be in Mayapur one week before Sri Narasimha deva
appearance ( on 27th May) and one week after 27th May . Then Guru maharaj
will go back to West for continuing his treatment.
This year we are celebrating Mayapur summer festival from Akshya tritiya (
May16th) to Narasimha chaturdasi ( May 27th) . This will be another
International festival with thousands of devotees gathering at mayapur.
During this period there will be chandana yatra, boat fetsival, Janhu
saptami, Panch krosa parikrama , Goura Mandala parikrama and many other
festivities. For details of this festival kindly visit www.mayapur.com . We
will conduct Goura Mandala parikrama duirng this summer festival period so
that devotees can visit katwa, kalna, and Ekachakra along with all the
pastime places which are located on the way.
Along with this information I also request all of you to extend your help to
provide free prasad to all devotees during Goura mandala parikrama and Guru
Maharaja’s Vyasa puja.
