Message from Guru Maharaja

Dear Diksa, Siksa, Shelter, Aspiring disciples and wellwishers,

Please accept my blessings and good wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

My office in Mayapur, commonly known as “JPS Office”, was set up mainly
to facilitate my disciples (diksa, siksa, shelter and aspiring) and
wellwishers to assist me in my service to Srila Prabhupada and for me to
help them to progress well in their Krishna consciousness.

I want to inform all of you that since I am no longer traveling extensively
due to my health condition, I wish to step up the activities of my office
at Mayapur. We want to especially increase communication.

Last year in November I attended the Sri Ksetra Parikrama at Puri. During
this stay at Puri, I developed a leg infection. When I reached Australia, the
infection was diagnosed as MRSA. I first visited Perth, then Melbourne and
finally when I reached Sydney, I was admitted in a hospital. The devotees in
Australia took good care of me. This hospitalization was a setback to my
regular therapy. When I returned to India, I visited Coimbatore for
Ayurvedic treatment. This quickened the MRSA infection healing process. Then
I reached Mayapur for the GBC meetings.  After the GBC meetings we had the
annual Gaura Purnima Festival. This year we had four parikrama parties,
International, Russian, Hindi and Bengali. Hindi was a new addition this
year since in recent years we have a large number of Hindispeaking devotees
who visit Mayapur for the festival. I was able visit all the four parikrama
parties on each day of the parikrama. My disciple Mahavaraha das has written
detailed reports of the parikrama. You can read them by visiting
www.jpsdisciples.com (http://www.jpsdisciples.com/)

After the Gaura Purnima festival, I participated in the annual Safari tour.
This year the devotees traveled to Gaya, Kurukshetra and then to Vrndavan. I
went directly to Kurukshetra and then travelled together with the Safari
team to Vrndavan. We had a brief stopover in Delhi where we attended the
Noida Rathayatra and did other preaching programs. From Vrndavan, the safari
team went to Jaipur, Siliguri and finally returned to Mayapur. I went to
Gauhati while the Safari team went to Jaipur. I then joined the Safari team
at Siliguri.

After Silguri, we returned to Mayapur to celebrate Ram Navami and my Vyasa
Puja. We had a large attendance at this year’s Vyasa Puja and in view of
that senior JSSS leaders have planned to strealine the organisation of the
Vyasa Puja festival starting from next year so that we can facilitate the
visiting devotees very efficiently. After my Vyasa Puja I left to Tirupati
to attend ICC, Indain RGB and other meetings. On the last day of my visit
there, I gave initiations. I am presently in Coimbatore undergoing
in-patient Ayurvedic therapy to detoxify my body especially considering the
fact that I had MRSA infection. I have written a detailed letter about my
activities beginning with Safari and ending with my arrival in Coimbatore.
It has been posted presently at www.jpsdisciples.com. It will be posted here
on this conference next and will also be posted at www.jayapatakaswamioffice.com.

Here in Coimbatore, every evening at 7:00 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) I
give class online which is webcast live at www.jayapatakaswamioffice.com;
www.jpsdisciples.com and www.mayapur.tv (Jayapataka Swami Channel). This
will continue till 13th May 2011. On Sundays, this live webcast of my online
class will be from ISKCON – Coimbatore starting at 7:45 pm IST.

I will return to Mayapur after Coimbatore to celebrate Narasimha Caturdashi.
Shortly thereafter, I plan to visit Los Angeles and then go to Atlanta for
Panihati festival. After that I plan to travel to South America and then
return to Kolkata for Rath Yatra. Later in the year I plan to visit Russia
if possible. This is not an exhaustive list of places that I plan to visit.
I will be spending more time in Mayapur.

For your information, Vaikunthapati das and Ratnavali devi dasi who
were managing my office at Mayapur are now rendering other services. I
am grateful and sincerely thankful to them for the various valuable services
they have rendered in the past at my office.

The JPS Office at Mayapur has now been restructured. It is currently being
led by Acintya Caitanya dasa as its Supervisor assisted by Adidevi devi dasi
as the Interim Manager who does the hands on work at the office along with
other staff members. I have instructed Acintya Caitanya dasa and Adidevi
devi dasi to function under and be answerable to a committee of my senior
disciples, the JPS Seva Committee.

The JPS Seva Committee is constituted of:

Vijaya Venugopal das(Chairman),Prema Vikash das (Vice-chairman), Srivallabha
das (Finance coordinator),Maha Varaha das and Simhesvara das (Personal
Servants coordinators), Marici Das (Travel coordinator), Iksvaku das and
Prema Caru das (Health coordinators).

Acintya Caitanya dasa and Adidevi dasi are voluntarily contributing their
time and services. Adidevi devi dasi will shortly be replaced by a permanent
manager.

Ratnavali dd and Vaikuntapati das are no longer accepting correspondence on
my behalf or for my office.

For office matters, hereafter, please write to jpsoffice@pamho.net

This e-mail address has been recently created for your convenience. Please
utilise it to direct your queries or seek any assistance from my office.

In the past few years my office has not been active. The present
restructuring with a supervisor to lead the office assisted by a hands on
manager is intended to streamline the office and make it efficient. In this
regard we would like to first update our database to set up active
communication with all of you. If your contact information has changed in
any way please send the changed information to my office by writing to
jpsoffice@pamho.net

I also want to emphasize that the functions of JPS office are purely
spiritual in nature. This office has not been authorised by me to conduct
directly or indirectly any financial schemes, marketing ventures or other
commercial enterprises to facilitate any of my services to Srila
Prabhupada’s mission or for any other reason. Such activities go against the
very spirit and purpose of this office.

A recent development has thrown light that some members from my office
might have been involved in some such schemes, in their personal capacities.
I have never condoned nor do I ever condone any such activity either on my
behalf or on behalf of the office. Even if they claim that I have condoned
such activity either on my behalf or on behalf of the office, please know
that it is not true. Neither I nor the office is responsible for such
activities. Please do not get involved with any such schemes even if my
disciples claim to be doing them only to help me or if they claim these
schemes to be authorised by me; rather immediately inform Acintya Caitanya
dasa <acintya.caitanya.jps@pamho.net> or Vidvan Gauranga dasa
<vidvan.gauranga.jps@pamho.net> whenever any such activity comes to your
attention.

Your well wisher always,
Jayapataka Swami
