Vyasa Puja Festival – 2011. Send your Homages right away!

Dear God-brothers / God-sisters,

Hare Krishna! Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila
Prabhupada. All glories to Srila Guru Maharaj.

This year, the Most Blessed Event, the “Sri Vyasa Puja Celebrations” of our
dear Guru Maharaj falls on 14th April 2011.

We are planning to have grand celebrations at Sridam Mayapur and special
seminars on the theme “Deepening Relations – with vaishnavas, guru and
Krishna”. Senior Godbrothers and Senior Sannyasi disciples of Gurudev would
be enlightening us on the various topics related to the theme.

The following is the festival schedule:

****************************************************************************
11 Apr 2011 Mo          Saptami         Arrival of Devotees
12 Apr 2011 Tu          Rama Navami     Seminars

15 Apr 2011 Fr          Dvadasi         Seminars, Interactive Session, Feast
****************************************************************************

Srila Prabhupad in the concluding para on verse 4 of NOI says, “..we should
always keep company with devotees, observe the regulative devotional
principles, follow in the footsteps of the a-ca-ryas and in full obedience
carry out the orders of the spiritual master. In this way we shall be able
to develop our devotional service and dormant Krsna consciousness”.

“Cultivating good vaishnava relationships can seem very delicate and at
times challenging, but it is so crucial and rewarding too! This is because
we develop our relationship with Krishna in the company of His devotees.
Krishna is never alone, in a vacuum – He is always surrounded by His loving
devotees and thus to learn to interact and relate properly with devotees is
a very vital aspect of bhakti. Srila Rupa Goswami has given very practical
instructions on how to properly respect different devotees and develop
vaishnava relationships.”

Relationships become the most effective when they are focused by placing
Guru and Krishna in the center, that is, a relationship that enhances and
strengthens each other’s faith and appreciation for our spiritual master and
the glories of devotional service.

We are looking forward to your participation and association in this years
Vyasa Puja festival.
